    San Diego is appoximately 12 miles from La Jolla Cove Suites.

  2. Could you give me directions to La Jolla Cove Suites?
    Coming from the north (Los Angeles) take I-5 south to the La Jolla Village Drive exit, turn right, go to top of the hill, to the 3rd light and turn left onto Torrey Pines Road this winds down the hill and merges with La Jolla Parkway which becomes Torrey Pines Road. Follow Torrey Pines up the hill to Prospect Place ( about 3/4 of a mile) turn right on Prospect Place, about a block and a half the road forks, take the fork in the road to the right (down the hill) this is Coast Boulevard. Follow Coast Boulevard to the stop sign, La Jolla Cove Suites is on the left, just past the stop sign at 1155 Coast Boulevard.

    From I-805 or I-15 merge onto state highway 52 going west, this turns into La Jolla Parkway as you pass over I-5, follow it all the way down the hill where it becomes Torrey Pines Road.   3. What are the hours and location of Continental Breakfast?
    Continental breakfast is served daily from 7 AM until 10 AM, located on the rooftop.


  4. What is served for Continental Breakfast?
    There is an assortment of cereals, juices, pastries, and fruits from which to choose. Bagels, muffins, teas, coffee, both regular and decaf are also served.

  5. Can you rent snorkel or scuba gear?
    In the village there are nearby surf and dive shops that rent scuba gear.

  6. Is there a local grocery store nearby?
    Yes, about 3 blocks away there is a major chain grocery store.

  7. How many parking permits are guests allowed?
    Each guest has one permit available to them for an $15 fee. Depending on occupancy additional permits may be purchased on a day to day basis, based on availability.

  8. Does La Jolla Cove Suites have an onsite exercise facility?
    No, however, hotel guests may access the La Jolla Athletic Club for a nominal fee. For guest convenience there is a private gated entrance from La Jolla Cove Suites to the club.

  9. What is the pool temperature?
    The pool's temperature is maintained at around 80 degrees year round.

  10. What is the water temperature in the spa?
    The spa's temperature is maintained at 101 degrees.

  11. What is the ocean temperature?
    In the winter months the temperature averages around 56 degrees and in the summer months 65 degrees, occasionally reaching up to 72 degrees.

  12. What are the pool hours?
    The pool is open at 9.00 AM and closes at 10.00 PM.

  13. What are the guest laundry hours?
    The guests laundry is open from 9 AM til 9 PM daily.

  14. Does the hotel offer airport transportation?
    Cloud 9 Shuttle service offers La Jolla Cove Suites guests airport transportation. Fees start at $18.75 per person. Guests may arrange for transportation directly with Cloud 9 or the front desk will gladly make the arrangements for them.

  15. Is there a bike rental nearby?
    Bikes can be rented from a rental shop right up the hill, about a half block away.
